Abstract
Since electricity nowadays is very important in our day-to-day living, the researchers have conducted a study to test the effectiveness of the electric bill reader as an electric cost converter.
To help the electric consumers on their cost-cutting measures was the general objective of the study.
Introduction
Consumers continually consume electric current and as a result, its demand is also increasing. But consumers are often shocked by their high electric bill. Most of the time, they feel that the bill is too high, compared to the electricity they consumed.
This study was designed to construct an equipment called the “electric bill reader,” to know the equivalent cost by converting the electricity consumed to Philippine peso. Electricity users will be able to confirm if their account is exactly the equivalent amount of the electric current they have used.
